Reena’s Xploration Challenge #235

Creeping out at dawn, she tiptoes barefoot over golden sand, gritty grains sliding between her toes. The sun, a crimson sliver, struggles to free itself from the horizon. She steps onto the jetty, its planks still moist with dew. Now, tugging softly at the mooring rope, she draws the boat towards her. With a brilliant flash, sunlight flares across the azure water bathing the bay in its gilded rays. She shades her eyes, tastes the salt on the breeze, inhales. Then, she drops lightly into the boat, casts off, and slips away into the morning.

Rebirth

a change of heart
reinvention
a rebirth
whether literal or metaphorical
it is a momentous occasion
in our lives
a moment of great change
an extraordinary development.

literature offers a smorgasbord
of rebirth stories
from the classic rebirth story of
Ebenezer Scrooge in Christmas Carol
who sees the errors of his ways and transforms
to the magical love story of Beauty and the Beast
when Belle realized there was more to the Beast
being just a beast.

i have my fair share
of rebirth stories myself, the ones
that did not only change my ways
but my perspectives and my disposition
in life, in situations, and in handling people around.

but my greatest most amazing
rebirth story, if i may say
is when i met you when you held my hand
for the first time, when you kissed me
and embraced me and made your own
that my love…

A raindrop is held together by surface tension and when falls from the sky and lands on to the ground or into the ocean, it ceases to become a raindrop anymore, and it will try to seek its own level as it eventually joins other droplets.  It might be consumed or end up in a in stream, river, lake, or an ocean, and it can also go underground.  When a raindrop lands, the liquid in the drop will be attracted to the surface of what it has landed on, it will continue to spread and eventually adhere to this surface or be repelled away.  The water cycle is often taught as being a simple circular cycle of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation, but it is more complex than that.  The water cycle can be thought of as death, when the water evaporates and rebirth when we get precipitation.  There are actually…

What is rebirth?

A second chance at life?

A chance to do better than before

Or to be born in a form totally different from the first one?

Intriguing questions that perhaps no one can answer with any certainty. For even if people are reborn, they don’t come back with memories of a previous life lived on this earth.

Though I don’t believe that we are given different forms on rebirth on this earth, I do believe that in one lifetime, we are sometimes given a chance to become a better person. A person who has decided to take a new form, abandoning their old traits.

That’s why this phenomenon is often referred to as turning a new page or reinventing oneself. In fact, it is for many, a part of growing. To learn from past mistakes and experiences and do better…

mind captures pictures,
maps scenarios within,
cascading clouds like,
mysteriously shifts shape,
different plane entirely.

It’s not about the average citizen’s

Well being,

It’s about total control

CCP style,

Two factions,

Governments struggling to retain

Sovereignty and their own control,

Western unelected backroom psychopaths

Hijacking governments, instigating and perpetuating

Endless wars and plunder in their evil quest to control

The world,

Time is running out for people to come to their senses,

Unless slavery and destruction top bucket lists.

My mind is a maze
And even I don’t know 
The full potential
