Impact

She scrolls past threads tangled in rage. Her silence is deliberate. She refuses to get involved in toxic conversations or vulgar counter-attacks.

Elegance is refusal to enter a fruitless debate.

Yet across the digital din, another voice erupts: “Elegance be damned. I need to speak my mind. Volcanoes are erupting inside me for decades.”

Two women, two choices: one cloaked in restraint, the other spewing fire. Between them lies the battlefield of social media, where elegance and eruption wrestle for the crown of truth.

The only thing that will matter in the long run is the action to change things.

  1. I pop in and out of my blog just a couple of times a week at the moment (posting little) and reading just a few that appear at the top of the notifications (letting fate chose my reading).
