I love that rhetorical device, i.e. inadvertent ringing of the ubiquitous cell phone, have used it as well in stories… there is something ’21st C isn’t all that perfect’ about it. For all of the might capabilities of the solid state world, one wrong number (or in this case, right number/wrong time) and it all comes undone.
