A Fallen Idol

Why father a nation when the future’s unclear,
shadows of doubt and uncertainty near?
Why dream of tomorrow when citizens rise
to build their futures, to reach for the skies?

I stood with a vision, a beacon of light,
yet it faltered in shaping an ideology right.
Dreams I harboured, the hopes I bore,
scattered like leaves on a lonely shore.

Why father a nation when the spirit is strong,
the voices of many create their song?
I may have stumbled, I may have failed,
The future is theirs; their dreams have prevailed.

So, let them build castles, let them chart seas,
With courage and wisdom, with hearts at ease.
For a nation is born not from one man’s decree,
But from the collective, the spirit of “we.”

The problem is whatever is done by the miscreantsis not to build a better nation with a new vision . they are used by few powerful ones who have vested interests.
