Release

“I can’t be rich and famous, however hard I try.”

“What makes you say ‘I can’t’?”

“A track record of failures, and a not-so-glorious family history….”

“I don’t want to sound clichéd, but did all the rich and famous people start on a strong footing?”

“They are born lucky.”

“Luck is a term invented to explain what we don’t understand.”

“What am I supposed to understand here?”

“Do you really want to move forward?”

“Of course…”

“Release the brakes first.”

  1. Love the metaphor of the wheelchair. Sitting only a few feet from a wheelchair which I’ve sat in several times, and tried (without success)to move forward in, when the brakes are still on, i get it. And people’s beliefs can often be as limiting as a physical brake. Clever!

  2. We all have baggage in our past. Some have more than others – but Everyone has baggage. Making it through the maze of life is rewarding but also the only way to continue to write the story of YOU. Just do your best and ENJOY the trip!

    1. Yes. That was my thought before I started writing. Then, the flow took me to the last sentence. My answer to your question is No. I don’t believe in motivational talks and clips.
