Not fared well…

I am a disappointed parent, unable to see my Harvard-bred smart genes in my child. He is a slow learner, and has been enrolled for several counselling and therapy sessions.

His suicide note breaks my heart. The suicide is a well-executed task after gathering a lot of information from the internet.

“It took me months to learn how to do it, Dad, but I did not want to fare too badly in your eyes again.”

I have not fared too well as a parent.

    1. Setting them up against own unfulfilled ambitions, and not acknowledging individuality is the biggest disservice a parent does to humankind. It leaves behind a scar, a struggle, a challenge … all of which was avoidable.
