People see what makes sense to them, reality notwithstanding. I find myself visualising and counting the boxes inside their mind, and sadly watch the gist of what I say fall through the cracks. It hampers communication for sure. I start saying something, and then stop - knowing that it will fall between the cracks or … Continue reading Filtration
Reena’s Exploration Challenge- Karma bites
Karma Bites ….. by Sadje
Reena is the host of Reena’s Exploration Challenge
Welcome to Week 178!
PROMPT #178
The prompt words for this week are
Karma Bites
You are free to use any medium you like to describe
〰️〰️〰️

How often we have wished that karma does its thing instantly
Instead, we desire and wait for fate to step in and do what we hope

Revenge is sweet but not everyone wants to take matters into their hands
We leave it to karma to set the balance right without our active role

It often takes its victim unawares, playing out its righteous maneuver
Generating ultimate satisfaction in the breast of the unjustly wronged

Deliciously Disastrous!
Deliciously disastrous …….by Radhika
A fun poem from me this time 🙂
Silken textures
melony fusions
a citrus tease
caramel swirls
fruity punch
nutty delights
creamy chocolate
coffee frappe
saffron trails
spicy berry
vanilla tendrils
sugary treats
cinnamon tales
gooey affairs
decadent desserts
bursts of flavor
insatiablecravings
sinful indulgence
karma bites
weight soars
clothes shrink!
तकदीर का मोहरा
English version here
If there is no darkness, just delay
Why’s that person not yet mine? Why doesn’t the night pass away
Why is my house dark, not thine?I was dear to them some day
face in their frames is not mineWhy did I let them move away?
One can stop life, but not time…Who is not a pawn of fate?
If you lost a game, why whine?Read original Hindi poem by hecblogger (Amit Agrawal) below.

Such A Jerk
Such a jerk …… By Jim Adams

One way or another, someone has to kick that guy right in his head, what on Earth is he trying to do, he better get himself together before Karma bites him in his ass. There is no reason for him to be threating this poor little girl, who by the way seems completely innocent to me, so harsh. He admits to being a wicked guy with a jealous mind, but that is no excuse for this type of behavior. I can’t see anyone in their right mind ever singing about domestic abuse where women get beaten and battered by their man, but it does happen. March is all about celebrating the accomplishments of women, but we also need to do something for the ones that need protection. When a man threatens to take a girl’s head off and tells her that she better run for her life, then that man…
