Slumbering until fully ready…. By Artie & Stu
I’m not languishing, I’m dormant
I’ll reach towards the sky
when our summer heat returns
with new green curly fronds
another cool winter now weathered.
Life grows ….by Aishwarya

Life finds itself to grow without any interference, without any help,
A creeper finds its hold amongst many trees and shrubs around,
Trees laden with fruits grow into trees again,
I am not languishing,
I am dormant,
If not eaten by a squirrel, pigeon, sparrow or man,
I shall grow into a plant again,
Till such time,
My fruits in lap of nature,
A part of creation, as special as creation itself,
I am not languishing, I am dormant.
Green Tomato Plant:
“Juicy tomatoes thrive in the Northwest, first as green goblins, then as love fruit.” (Glenn A. Buttkus)

Economies, both national and international await a wave of ‘revenge shopping’ to boost revenues.
People who have been ‘locked down’ for long are likely to hit shopping malls with a vengeance, and compensate for all that they have missed in the last 15 months.
I’ve lovingly and forlornly cleaned my bags and shoes every month, with a soft cloth, and put them away again. Shoes are longing to see action, to take you places and breathe in fresh air.
I bought a new pair of shoes, yesterday, and surreptitiously, stacked them away in the shoe closet, hoping not to be noticed by the man in my life. Not that silent look of askance again –Did you really need that ?
How many of you identify with this household scenario ?
Shoes step out of the car, before you do. Shoes are the first thing that are noticed for both…

I’m not languishing, I’m dormant ….. by Lady Lee

I’m not languishing, I’m dormant
Not shimmering but limp
Hollow feeling without warning
Please don’t call me a wimp
One day I’ll wake up and meander
Act and never a bystander
One day I’ll wake
One day I’ll wake
Flourish and lace with my candour
I’m not languishing, I’m dormant
All things transpire, I’m blue
Some sweet carress in the morning
Of course, with coffee brew
Stow away the hurt and pain
And with that, no need to explain
Stow away
Stow away
I’ll be up and as bright as rain
I’m not languishing, I’m dormant
Just having a breather
Just wait for one day life’s soaring
And of course a pleasure
Be patient and we’re rewarded
Problems and hindrances sorted
Be patient
Be patient
Garden full of rose and orchid*

noise quieted in my mind
I’m not languishing, I’m dormant

♾♾♾
I’m not languishing
I am dormant
I am waiting for my time toemerge
Till then I conserve my energy
Why waste my talent on the unappreciative
My time hasn’t arrived as yet
So I’ll wait
I wait till the circumstances are just perfect
Then I will bloom
And then the world will be held spellbound

Free from the void …by Jim
I’m not languishing, I’m dormant, but very soon since I have gotten both of my Covid injections, I plan to get on with my life again. All of the masking and social distancing was miserable and I had to neglect doing many things that I love. Now that I have wakened from my sleep caused by the pandemic, my life has taken on new meaning for me and I plan to flourish. I have been cautiously biding my time, nurturing new ideas, and waiting for the good times to roll again. I look back at the lockdowns as a method that recharged my batteries, so now it is time for the winter of my discontent to be over. I had been conserving my energy, but I’m no longer lying in wait. If something interesting comes along, I’ll pounce on it, like the cat that I am.
