Tab, tab, clear …..by Diana Coombes

Too many tabs.
Reboot! Reboot!
Too many tabs,
I don’t compute.
Just want to stop for a while
Find another way of life;
Colouring, painting, writing until
all the tabs close and
all is still.
Tabs of the Mind …. by Jasmine Bhatia
My brain has too many tabs open,
Each tab has a story to convey,
Not all the tabs however clicked,
Displays the content in it
Some are hidden, Some are Open,
Some are a feeling of a painful wound,
Some are the joyous precious moments,
Some are sorted and some are tangled and complex,
When many tabs open together,
The system of the brain crashes too
And it alarms to restart or shut off the tabs of overthinking,
Which results in no plans and no solutions.
Once it calms and cools off,
By a simple walk, a loved music or a poised meditation,
It has the power to relax, rejoice and chase any dreams or any challenging time.
Now when this is known to me,
My brain has installed an anti virus in it
To flush away all the unwanted tabs and
Only keep the tabs that are constructive,
And…

Not enough tabs….by Michael
My brain has too manytabs open.
I like this topic for no other reason than what if the opposite applied, in that, I didn’t have enough tabs open?
I don’t think I have overload, more so it’s underload for me.
I think it’s always been that way for me, look for the easiest way to solve a problem rather than spend hours trying to nut it out.
Somehow or other I have managed to get myself through life, fumbling my way along, more often than not conning people into believing I know what I am doing.
Right from the word go I recall my teachers telling me I was lazy. That I had to make a bigger effort, apply myself to the tasks given but what they didn’t know was that for the most part, I was working to my capacity, as inquisitive as I was, there were…

Overcrowding ….by Sadje
There are times
When my mind is in idle mode
Thoughts are floating peacefully
Ideas hibernating, in a hazy atmosphere
Then there are other instances
When a frenzy of activity occurs
Too many ideas are simultaneously generated
Thinking power divided between each
Like a computer overloaded
Too many tabs opened, the annoying delays
The throbber*, indicating waiting for response
Perhaps it needs to unplug and go to sleep mode!
(* Throbber is the icon we see when an app of program is being loaded!)

Reena’s Exploration Challenge #209 – My brain has too many tabs open
it’s hard to explain
to those not suffering from anxiety
life feels about to explode from the inside out
thoughts are on hyper-drive
garbled fine-tuning recycling constantly turned over thoughts
feelings manifest as super-overwhelmed
have tender compassion and understanding
and support those who are recovering as best they can
when they say “my brain has too many tabs open”

She does not recognise the woman in the room.
She bangs her head on the wall, then cries and yells that she can’t take it any more.
Who is she? What is she growing weary of?
The voice is loud and clear.
Minute-to-minute tracking, suspicion, distrust, accountability called for by someone who has mental health issues.
“You were logged in at 2.53 pm. The maid came with her documents after that. Two messages are deleted in between. You logged out at 2.58 pm.
Whom were you chatting with for those 5 minutes, when my call was not picked up?”
What does this crap mean?
Only a person suffering from a mental health disorder knows – knows everything other than the fact that he is suffering from a disorder.
Is this real?
Yes. He stalks phone numbers on chat platforms to see login time and takes screenshots for 8-10 hours a…

Stolen Identity
Legal identity ….by Jane Aguiar

A big
shadow
falls on the wooden house
as if Satan has come
to steal

Thank you for reading.
Stay Blessed!
The woman currently abiding
within this costumed realm
is merely a lethargic version
of the once vital but oppressed
Miss, whose identification
was stolen by means of
unsolicited adversity.
The focus of this recanting
is to invite a perspective
that not only restores, but
aids in the teaching of other
shadow-selves, that to reassert
original nature is more than fair.
(A quirky rant for Reena’s Xploration challenge: a stolen identity ; and Eugi’s weekly prompt: shadows. Art my own)
