protestors up in arms fighting the good fight
light and air pollution
large garbage patches dotting our oceans
space debris circulating mother earth

astronauts soaring above looking down
witnessing it all, seeing clearly
most of the people residing here
lacking demonstrable empathy

the inhabitants shortsighting their future
i say let it burn
go further into destruction
finish the job

mother will heal when we are gone

A white rabbit checked his watch and then exclaimed that he was late and in ‘Late Lament’ by the Moody Blues, they talked about a “Cold-hearted orb that rules the night” and wondered “which is an illusion”.  The rabbit is just silly, but drummer Graeme Edge makes us think that as time passes, what is actually going on.  Time is grouped into periods of past, present and future, or yesterday, today and tomorrow, but what is time?  Isaac Newton described it as absolute, but Einstein proved that time is relative, and, shockingly, that time and space are intricately interwoven.  Recent work in string theory and quantum gravity suggests that space and time may not be fundamental.  If we look at the stars, we are seeing the past and even when we see a flash of lighting at a short distance away, we are seeing something that happened a hundredth of…

Outdated and impractical!

Honesty and hard work you tell me are essential???

Not so my dear I tell…

Empty your sorrows in as much fervour,

As you share your happiness,

Don’t hold back to it,

It ain’t do you any good,

Like dewdrops on leaves dissipate once the rays of light sink in,

Empty your sorrows without any delay,

Amongst stardusts of immortality,

Strands of insanity hidden,

While fickle flames of mortality,

Burns day in and day out,

Silently sane,

Lingering.
