All the meeples gathered in front of the Great Question Mark sitting with their heads bowed to ponder if life has any inherent meaning or purpose. Their lives seemed meaningless, and it was almost like they were being used as a playing piece in a board game, being pushed around and told what to do, and where to go by some random throw of the dice. Was this their place in the universe, or was there more to life? These meeples were the renowned thinkers of their time, but they still felt like they were searching in the dark for meaning and since God never revealed how the story will end, they were left blind, waiting for something to shine the light on them.
