I tiptoe like an uninvited guest
in a party
where I was dropped from the sky
Jeez, I did not gatecrash
this place is crazier than imagination
I tiptoe lest the ground parts
underground sounds are scarier than Hell
I check my wings for reactivation
but someone up there holds controls
needs to see where I was dropped
I tiptoe for souls with amnesia
can’t recall where they came from
and call this place Home
where they are uninvited guests
like me, like the shapes on Earth
I’ll tiptoe till I find a runway
run like there was no life
find a bird to take me back
but trusted pathways tend to crack
There’s Karma written on the decks

I love the repetition in your beautiful poem.

Reena, I loved the Bardos-holding theme and delightful imagery throughout. But I really enjoyed the final stanza, I
’ll tiptoe till I find a runway
run like there was no life
find a bird to take me back
but trusted pathways tend to crack
There’s Karma written on the decks
And there it is, no escaping Karmic rebirth.
Wonderful Poem! Appreciate, ya 🩵
