Glad to be here tonight. The Café’s owner has been pouring warmth into cups for many years now, while a tall, lanky man constructs elaborate word maps on the round table.

The beautiful storyteller and accidental blogger with an adorable pet on her arm keeps everything together without much ado. Mimi hums like a secret refrain, and one never knows what will come next from her.

I’ll be drenched— to the skin, to the bone, to the deep core…

Words rain down, clouds split, a torrential downpour
-each syllable strikes, phrases like a storm

Let the characters loose — free to wander and stumble
Let thoughts echo till their foresight fumbles
they search for themselves in labyrinthine corridors

stories enmeshed, watch the internet tremble
In castles fragile, you watch threads entangle
and still— still they ask for more.

Here comes the keeper with a decanter divine
In sparkling crystal, it holds a heady wine
Sushi rolls, tempura strolls – the band adores

Dancers swaying to unheard symphonies
Deepening colour of blushing peonies
Heroes rise high, villains collect cronies
Till the bar is raised to make it all de rigueur
