I came across another interesting fact about Death Valley. It has a unique geology.
It contains Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. This stark depression contributes to the valley’s intense heat by trapping dense, hot air near the surface.
In India, maximum temperatures can range between 45 – 50 degree Celsius, and the less privileged people living on streets die in the extreme weather conditions. Others cannot survive without airconditioning.
scorching winds whisper,
earth cracks beneath blazing skies—
shadows flee the sun.

That’s amazing information

50°C converts to 122°F which must feel a lot like Death Valley. Thanks for joining in again, Reena and sharing your poetry.
