What it is that music is trying to say?
invading every pore
penetrating thought
directing movement
swaying the will
My inhibitions never let me dance
What is this itch in the feet?
slithering through air
above the floor
that lets me stand
with an identity
the floor dissolves
but I don’t sink
I rise above myself
Now I know
what it is that music is trying to say

I love how this brings us around to an illumination!

Music is not asking to be understood it is asking to be felt. It slips past thought, loosens restraint, and turns stillness into motion before permission is given. What once felt like hesitation becomes lift, as if the body remembers something the mind forgot. And in that moment, identity is no longer fixed to the ground it is carried by rhythm. Music, at its core, is simply saying: become movement, and you will understand.
