Yes. They bond beautifully – fighting over toys or getting close to Daddy, dating, mating and worrying about the other if s/he takes a longer walk.

If they are lucky…as yours seems to be! So are my three but can’t help but worry over every doggie I see that seems to be abandoned. So far, I’ve brought 15 home in the past 25 years. Found other homes for 8 of them and kept 7. Three still are my “pampered brats!” Your poem so true…

You are doing a great job by helping strays. We feed them, but can’t shelter too many in an apartment. And my brats don’t tolerate other dogs.
