He sat in the padded room, tracing invisible maps on the walls with trembling fingers.
The nurses whispered about his eccentricity, though their eyes showed more pity than awe.
Every word he spoke came from another world, as if he never belonged here and was struggling to find his way back.
Was he searching for a spaceship, but couldn’t get past the doors or windows with his incongruous shape?
He signalled maniacally with full force of his core; yet no one came forward.
He was designed to be a puzzle that could never solve itself, and external inputs shied away.

Ah… this reminds me of an AI Bot in knots. We dealt with AI Bots that refused to give us a real person and eventually hung up on us!

Oh, yeah… I received a call from a bot who answered my question about his humanity, “Would you like to talk to a person? I will fix up an appointment.”

With this ‘one’ place we never did get a person. But we managed to do what we needed via two different browzers to get through the ‘paperwork’. Ugh.

Right conditions, kindness and quiet, stopping long enough for the world to stop shaking so hard seem the right ingredients for self-unification and freedom, but the rest is up to chance…
