metal twisted into shapes
framed in concrete structures
covered with woven fabrics
or glass in varying degrees
of transparency
It questions its purpose
to filter and fragment views
-yet let fresh air in
to bathe stagnant dust
all the while being stuck
deprived of willpower
or locomotive ability
it invites the sun and rain
to wash, to burn
to ask for pathways
into inside worlds

hi, Reena❣️

Reena, I really love how “it invites the sun and rain / to wash, to burn” made this structure feel quietly alive to me, like it’s carrying its own hidden longing! 🌦️
