Tangled World

The tangled world below
makes them restless
No surrender plans
Yet clouds drift on white wings
across a clear blue sky,
releasing turbulence.

They rain on an unsuspecting, parched Earth.

Unseasonal rains, or artificial rains,
in pursuit of something other than Peace,
distort predictions,
fracture farmers’ income.

And somewhere,
behind the curtain of weather,
a hand unseen rewrites the script
not of rain, but of fate.

  1. This is a beautifully atmospheric and thought-provoking piece. 🌧️
The imagery of drifting clouds, unseasonal rains, and a “hand unseen” subtly weaves together nature and human intervention in a way that feels both poetic and unsettling. There’s a quiet tension throughout the poem—between peace and disturbance, between natural flow and forced disruption.
