The line I chose is from a poem our friend Maggie wrote – The Room that Echoed Back
as if each repeated idea consumed
a little more space
than it returned.
My take on it in the Golden Shovel format. The theme is not the same. I’ve borrowed her words.
Freedom for all, love and peace to each
The theme is hackneyed, not just repeated
If it has never happened, is it a big idea?
Mirages chased, philosophy consumed
Faith drifts away, little by little
Hope is not enough; we ask for more
Our slot in the world is a lot more space
Our suppressed voices are louder than
The Big Bang; Now don’t yell, “That was it.”
The self is never killed, the soul returns

I loved the last line in particular, the soul returns….indeed it does! 🕉️
Well done and evocative
