You are just a character, so you have to follow my instructions.
The character does a few somersaults on the page, changes colour like a chameleon, and shows a face that looks AI-generated.
This won’t help me carry the story forward.
He waves his hand like a magical wand and changes the shape of a few other characters, “They might act differently than what you had in mind.” He acts like a music director, planting rhythm in the chaos to make people want to listen.
The page is silent, the writer welcomes the pause as a pivot and resumes writing.

A writer has to keep those characters in line.

Don’t tell anyone, but some of my characters? I’m a glorified stenographer lol
a total gift from the Muses (or anything other suprarational agency you care to name).

I feel like a medium at times, with no control on the words (minor editing follows). If I read old pieces, I feel I cannot do it again. It was something that happened and ended on the day of creation.

Sometimes the characters be doing what they want and riot if you try to contain them.
That’s also a fun experience.

True. You can choose whether or not to publish it. But writing is fun.

But when given enough leeway- you never know where they may take you!
