The room fell silent, executives shifting in their seats as if the air itself had turned hostile.
Later that night, Arjun found an anonymous message in his inbox: “You saw too much, but you spoke too little.”
By morning, the CFO had resigned—and Arjun realised the message came from the CEO, who had orchestrated the downfall all along.

if it weren’t for the overwhelming majority working day-to-day simply to survive, I’d be inclined to say/write good riddance to the CFO and ‘nice-going’ to the CEO.
But it’s the Barron/King/Pope ruling over the masses while claiming a divine right that is the sin, the affront. In the final analysis a CEO contributes nothing to the creation of good(s) or services other than ambition. (And) the wages of ambition are paid in the suffering of those who do the work.

If you ask me- (and I do realize you did not) someone needs to start flagging transactions on Wall Street for 15 minutes prior to every time Trump is set to update his perception of the Strait of Hormuz!
