Snakes can be cold blooded. But they need care too. Mostly though I think snakes need to be free. I once had a black snake caught in netting in my yard. I knew that if I didn’t free it, it could die. So I very carefully freed it.

I’ve had cats, dogs, fish… and once (it was actually an elders’) a boa constrictor!
