It took a lifetime to build a coffin and inscribe a language on it. I’m not sure if the future will be able to decipher it. But this is my version of my personal history as I’d like others to see it.
Others are free to add their own versions. I will have no control over what happens after my exit from the world.
Bury me with the remains of my beliefs, especially the tattered bits that no one finds useful.
Bury me with my uniqueness and individuality, as I don’t want to rule the world with my clones.
Bury me with the lies I told to fit in the insane world around me. Place with me the scattered truths that I gathered and held close.
Bury me with the impressions on the folds of my soul that I will carry over several lifetimes.

A wonderful take Reena. Love the defiant tone of this piece

Reena, very thoughtful and creative, the idea of building a coffin that expresses how we saw ourselves. Your last line had the most impact on me.
