The playpen looks sturdy enough, but Shih-Tzus treat it like a puzzle box.
Tiny paws wiggle, noses nudge, and before you know it, the pups have squeezed through the bars like furry Houdinis.
The grown-ups don’t bother with finesse—they simply leap out with the confidence of Olympic high-jumpers.
Owners stand baffled, holding treats in one hand and resignation in the other.
What was meant to be a fortress quickly becomes a comedy stage, starring escape artists in silky coats.
In the world of Shih-Tzus, playpens aren’t barriers—they’re just warm-up acts for their next great adventure.

Four legged family often are very adept at escaping anything their two legged family members try in attempting them to keep out of trouble.
We had a relative who at one point had three cats and three dogs. The cats would knock the bread off the top of the frig for the dogs to eat!

Wow! How we live, love and survive together is so beautiful. Wishing the world implements these lessons in peace.

I knew a Yorkie just like this. There’s no holding the small dogs back, what they lack in size they make up in heart and persistence.

One of the nice things about Shih-Tzus is they are very light. They are also very cute.

Cast one look at them, and our hearts melt enough to forgive every audacity.
