Can I write a story in one sentence?
When I raise a doubt, it writes one story; when I start writing, it becomes another.
The need here is to disentangle entwined stories to make sense of them and condense the wisdom into a single sentence.
However, life and writing prompts demand more, so I invent characters that either echo or contradict my story, and they become springboards for new stories.
Iโm sure the readerโs mind is as entangled as mine, and their interpretation is vastly different from the intent I started with.
Writers never die of boredom, and condensed wisdom is a megalomaniac statement โ whatever is scattered across the universe, ungathered let it be.

All art, including the writing arts, are a conversation between the artist and the hearer/reader/viewer of it. You have a thought, and create, it sparks a thought in me as try to discern the meaning, and add my own views.

At times, the reader’s interpretation is different from my intent. But I just let it be. The impact will be different as our internal processors are different.
Thanks for the engagement, Mimi!

we have consensus on ‘ungathered let it be’ the Six Phrase of the Week
kinda antithetical to what, imo, is the intent of the phrase?
still, quite thought provoking
of (inventing) characters and the spring boarding of new stories… one might view (in the abstract, of course*’) that they, ‘the characters’ are as real as ‘Readers’… entities we accept, hell, we invite into the personal reality we inhabit… so, who is the ‘real’ person
(on a personal note, we have an alcove reserved for you at the Six Sentence Cafรฉ & Bistro the next time the spirit moves you… no need to call ahead, unless your plans call for table service… a quiet place to bring a friend (fictional or imaginary**) and spend some time
*lol
** ‘or‘ ?$&( what the heck is that qualifier for…;p
