Is there a de-addiction program for people to detach from a residence, city, country or partner?
I will miss the traffic jams, the caution against fraudsters, the extreme climate, the great food, and, not to mention, the easy camaraderie with strangers.
A new place offers career growth and wealth opportunities, but the cold climes will always remind me of the warmth in hearts here. What will I do there without my hands upon your summer face, and the singed skin on scorching afternoons? What will I do without the hot, thick milk concoction served in clay tumblers on wintry nights?
Your caustic barb pierces my heart – “Go, find a white-skinned mate, because that is what you lust after.”
I yearn for success and wealth, but I love you.
And then comes your parting shot, “You’ll have everything, but no power in a foreign land.”

I can totally relate to this Reena🫶

Thank you, Mich! My piece succeeds if someone can relate to it.

What he said will not be able to be taken back. I understand he’s in pain, but no excuse to hurt like that. I’m sorry she was verbally attacked.

True. When I first heard people from different nationalities are paid differently for the same work in UAE, it felt unacceptable.
But the point is they still earn more than what they would do in their own country, and it becomes the deciding factor.

Yes, it depends on the passport you have- even people from the same country having different passports have different wages. An unfair system I’d say.
