PROMPT #400

Catch me gloating at #400 and taking pride in attracting many more participants on the journey. I see this as a platform bursting with talent.

Let’s play a game this week.

Visit the site of An Almanac of Birds: 100 Divinations

Click on any one of the 12 pictures. You are free to try more than once.

Read the divination and write whatever comes to mind.

I landed on this one –

I wrote this as a stream of consciousness piece.

you are not enough
yet
you are the only obstacle

you are the driving force
yet
the familiar holds you back

you are cosy in your cocoon
yet
curious about the outside

you resist the bursting of dams
yet
it is a battle
to contain the possible in you

I have included a line in the divination, but you can choose to do it your way.

There is no restriction on the length or format of the piece. There is no last date unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.
