PROMPT #399

We have a word prompt this week, and the chosen word is

OTROVERT

The term attracted attention with the publication of a book by Rami Kiminski, “The Gift of Not Belonging – How Outsiders Thrive in a World of Joiners.”

The name comes from the Spanish word otro, meaning “other,” and it captures the essence of people who live just outside the conventional personality spectrum. Otroverts aren’t defined by how much they love or avoid socialising—they’re defined by their independence from it.

You may research the word on the web, but I would rather avoid influencing your thought patterns by speaking too much. It may be a matter of self-reflection for some of you. You may like or dislike these outside-the-box creatures.

Let the theme pervade your piece, whether or not you choose to use the word.

There is no restriction on the length or format of the piece. There is no last date unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.

We will not include any posts that are found to be offensive, vulgar or hurt ordinary sensibilities. This needs to be a safe space.
