My mother told me about pots of gold encased in walls, at her ancestral home in the village. There was an old aunt who had entered the house young as a child bride, and witnessed all the hush-hush activity, perched on her mother-in-law’s hip.
She was dead now, and the tragedy was a belief that whoever attempts to possess the wealth, dies.
Decades later, someone said they dug the walls but found only scorpions and insects in pots. Perhaps, the rumour-monger had disappeared with the loot.
Old graveyards carry secrets and stories; the bones and flesh have disintegrated ages ago.

Ooh, very good, Reena!

The greatest treasure buried with the dead, is their forgotten knowledge.

The only way would be to put it out on the internet during our lifetime, and let AI pick it up selectively 😂, till something else takes over. Someone may choose to rebrand it and present it as a fresh ideas or debunk it. The world will go on.

Everyone so wants to believe there is a family treasure, but it is just wishful thinking. Then again, perhaps someone made off with the loot. Great story!

Yes! People didn’t put it in banks.

And not all the stories the graveyards carry, it seems, are true

Truth changes form when buried

Loved this, rumours often start and there isn’t any truth to the gossip.

It qualifies to be called gossip, only when truth
