“How about a cup of coffee in Sundance Café?”
He asked after the completion of a gruelling college project.
What started as a kind gesture from a classmate rolled over into the darkest chapter of her life.
He introduced her to friends who, despite their polished appearance, were involved in nefarious activities. Her swift entry and exit from this marked circle left indelible marks on her psyche, but she emerged stronger.
On the other side of darkness, she sips a Cappuccino today in the same place, a symbol of her personal growth and the return of sunlight into her life.

Reena, is that photo the actual place? I really love how the MC came full circle and was able to return to the place of trauma ❤

Yes, it is the actual place. It was quite close to my college and still exists.
The story is fictional though 😀 Thanks, Lisa!

Even better, next time she may recognize the signs and not get involved in the first place.

Good that the protagonist had a narrow escape and rose over and strengthened from her bad experiences.

Good one, Reena – and yes, we just need some more coffee… like in the SSC&B!

SSC&B offers a lot more than coffee. 😀😀

awww come on! the Six Sentence Café & Bistro isn’t that nefarious*
going out on a limb, but the thing is, besides the established physical characteristics of the place, (and the reg’lars seen there) having an established, if not metaphorical fictional location for stories can be a fun challenge, i.e. maintaining the locational constituency while introducing a unique character by different authors… a chance for fictional interaction(ing)
;p
*ok, maybe a little nefarious lol
fun semi-walk-on*
