the clock tower
calls for help
nobody knows why
shadows lurk around
attempt to control time
turn the hands of the clock
unheard, unseen….
The clock tower
yells…
don’t turn time around
there are lessons to be learnt
from what passed by
no one listens
wheels keep rolling
steered by Power
history gets reinvented each time
someone tells a story

And history, like time, is on repeat…
