War and Peace

“One or more terrorists are still hiding somewhere.”

“How can you say that?”

“They abandoned the rocks after the full-fledged army attack, but two rocks are missing from this box. I’d counted all.”

For once, the Captain believed him.

“Take your positions, quick”, he barked.

Silence.

There was no sound of gunfire from anywhere.

“Look there”, they saw a soldier moving slowly towards the post with a bleeding head.

“Take him to the hospital. The rest of us will avenge every drop of blood.”

War never ends.

Peace is the path to life and love. Who will convince the maniacs?

  1. I used to think that we could convince the maniacs, that it was really possible if enough of us tried. But I’m much, much older now and I think the answer is no one can convince the maniacs. At least not until the maniacs go off and fight the wars. Money, power and greed drive everything. Humanity used to be the dream and now inhumanity is the reality. 😦

  2. Such a sad story of hate and ruin. I agree with sadje. War, regardless of how it’s played out, never solves anything. War only causes hate, destruction, turmoil, and ruin. But sadly, it’s a heartbreaking reality in today’s world. Too much power, too much control, too much hate.

      1. Reena – Yes that is a very good point. Our soldiers do not get nearly as much recognition or respect that they deserve for putting their lives on the line to fight, defend, and protect our country. It’s absolutely heartbreaking 💔🥺 These media outlets are downright heartless and cold beings.
