Implosions

hats and veils flee
unable to conceal
red-hot authenticity
buzzing brains
crowd runways
ready to fly

transmute moulds
into flying gear
Hold judgment
watch magic unfold
your world’s set to change
by a yet unseen range

talent blooms from
long-suppressed rage
individuality is finally
coming of age

  1. reena, i love the voice that you gave to this painting. i see nuns when looking at the painting, and then you use the words “hats and veils” and “flying gear” which bring it even more alive for me … in so many ways!

  2. Loving what you did here with ‘Three Women’, Reena!

You used it diametrically opposite to how I used the same image – I wrote to the prompt words and then chose the pic afterwards, whereas you used the pic for your entire prompt.

And very well and rightly you released Georgia’s muse, her example for all of us to follow – if we dare!
