discarded thoughts
float on waves
hit hard rocks
and transform themselves
dress in a shell
to look different
focus inward
emerge like a pearl
non-interfering
non-imposing
adding lustre
to fertile minds
dropping from mouths
like reluctant words
with copyrights
not fully owned
but held tight

Wow! Love it, Reena. β€οΈ

A pearl of a poem, Reena. It shimmers and glows.

THose thoughts are so difficult to gather…. but eventually they will come clear.

True. But at times, I feel the world around us is made of these scattered thoughts.

Thank you so much, Laura! The first version said “discarded advice” which I presently changed to “discarded words” π
