This is the place that I once owned
Took pride in idiosyncrasies and quirks
This is where my first joint was rolled
Yes, it was a place I lived and worked.

I knew not when someone wrote a protocol
I was expected to work; play to the role
A workplace is not as relaxed as the campus
When the collar gets hot, things aren’t cool

I am the hacker’s code that goes berserk
I was made by a genius, hired by a crook
I am used for crime, unbeknownst to me
I am a tool, the weapon and the hook

  8. I realy like how you layered this with a realistic narrative (rolling the first join there and workspaces in general) and then how you layered in the code talk and being the tool. Really had me thinking…
