A blinking prompt, a frozen mind
The muse deserts me
Not again
A simmering stew, a hot stove
Frozen meat
Not again
A forward step; a packed bag
The door is locked
Not again
Stale words; ancient expressions
Frogs croak
Yet again
Unlocked dreams; a new moon
Let the light shine
Once again

Repetition with wit, and grace, and humour! I thoroughly enjoyed it, Reena. The progression from “Not again,” to a hopeful “Once again” was especially delightful.

Thank you, Nolcha! The inspiration came from the poem “But You Didn’t” shared by Dora.
