Is it derisive or mocking?
How does it come on?
Is it camaraderie?
Is it an attempt to build bonds?
Did you smile too soon
and looked like a moron?
Time matters
always…..
more so when you laugh
at a joke,
for a ball
or someone’s fall
Sensitivity, thy name is the right time
Let it hurt, or let it chime

It can be embarrassing to laugh at the wrong moment.😬

Well said. Laughter can create everlasting impressions, some good, others can be traumatic.

Indeed… very much my thought as well… being laughed at is just a tool of bullying.
