WHATABOUTERY

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word as follows

“Whataboutery ” is deployed by people who are themselves accused of a charge, and who wish to distract rather than defend themselves—it is a misdirection technique of the guilty.

You can choose to give a different twist to the word if you can.

The format of the piece is not restricted, and there is no last date either unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap.
