first cherry blossoms
soft whispers of pink and white
spring’s tender murmur

fiddlehead ferns curl
nature’s green scrolls unfurling
in dawn’s moist embrace

twittering of birds
dawn’s chorus greets the sunrise
daybreak’s symphony
