On the other side of fear lies Experience,
A vast expanse where courage unfurls its wings.
There, the winds of uncertainty carry whispers,
the sun paints the canvas of daring dreams.
Fear, a sentinel at the threshold of Safety,
Its stone walls sturdy, its gates bolted tight.
Within, we find refuge from life’s tempests,
Yet our hearts yearn for the wild unknown.
Safety, a hearth where comfort crackles,
Where routines weave blankets of predictability.
But what of the uncharted lands beyond?
What treasures await those who dare to step?
Fear, oh faithful companion, whispers caution,
But it cannot silence the call of the horizon.
For on this side lies Safety, warm and familiar,
And on the other side, Experience awaits.

A personification of fear, well done, Reena.

I found your poem interesting, for I like to think that fear doesn’t visit me. Maybe it does, and I refuse to feel it?

I rather like being anonymous, invisible to most of the world… I’m not sure I could handle being famous…
