Why did I grow up without companions? Minions
in a world which slots you who
by the company you keep weep
and I couldn’t accept their ways daze
there were no influencers mincers
or role models to tell me how now
I grew up well with myself shelf
I’m not Narcissus, nor his sorrow callow
Just authentic tick
Just myself pelf
And this is how wow
I’d like to be me

Honestly, it is such a stellar poem, with so much creativity.

There is more authenticity in it than creativity 🙂 Thanks, Aboli!

Thanks! It works better on a Word doc, than being typed on WP.
