Halloween and Ouija boards bring up so much. I almost empathize with the soul’s struggle to express itself without a voice. Ouch! It lost its vocal cords, but not its vision and need for expression.
I am grateful to be a soul in a physical existence, with a clear or unclear objective – to experience life on this planet fully.
I ask the soul if it can listen to and understand me. Not sure of the former, but I do hope it understands through a different mechanism.
don’t get lost
looking for your soul
it’s your core

My only doubt is that the soul experiences through our enses till it is in the body. What leaves is only energy and information ? Can it contact again ?
Interesting take, Reena.

I’ve read certain descriptions from people who have ‘come back’ – queues of little lights moving in opposite directions through a tunnel. Those are probably souls coming into the world and going back.
They claim to have met their kith and kin (parents in some cases) and the message is just transmitted without voice or words. Google Anita Moorjani if you ‘ve not already read her books.
In other cases, people have heard voices in a trance-like state, like we Converse in dreams. Ouija boards have a mechanism where the glass moved on alphabets to spell words.
I claim no expertise though 😊

I’ve done such things as Ouija and Seance as a ghost hunter in my younger days. It can be quite sad to see and hear the signs of those souls perhaps trapped. Well done.

Yeah … they say a soul should depart this planet on death and not remain hanging around.
We have elaborate post-death rituals for 13 days, which is a kind of full and final farewell. But priests make money out of increasing complexity, and people prefer winding up the rituals in 3-4 days. So, it’s all taking a back seat. Ideally, a soul should not see people crying and in distress which makes them reluctant to leave.

Those rituals sound incredible. Such a pity that the priests ruin it by charging too much money.
I agree, we should always celebrate a person and be happy for their soul to move on to whatever should be next for them.

The soul is an important part of who we are, but in this tumultuous world, it barely gets a look in…

True. I guess these things are cyclic. Too much of physical and we will go in for Zen lifestyles.
