leading to a room
where spring lives
undaunted by fall
where inmates know
they will recreate
whatever is lost

temple of confidence
leading to gods
who make you look up
no heads bowed down
hands that stretch
to pluck the stars

  3. Excellent post to the prompt! Am reminded of that phrase, “when one door closes, another opens”….it’s just sometimes difficult to find the open window. But we are the better for the searching.
