His thoughts turn to his first visit to a candy store with the 500-rupee note his aunt gave him. Greedy is the only label he can put on that version of himself. He ate too much too fast, and landed in the doctor’s clinic with a stomachache.

Sania’s message causes heartache. She is the best of all girls he has dated, but is upset with his Casanova reputation.

“Good luck with your numerous conquest! I will not be a trophy on your shelf or a number to be celebrated.”

He reads it for the umpteenth time with a deep sigh.

      I’ve seen youngsters from conservative setups in small towns move to metro cities and go berserk where dating is concerned. They’ve not seen that kind of freedom before. Now of course, dating apps have changed the scenario nationwide.
