sharp, slanting, cutting showers pierce
-a force fierce
on-your-face, unconcealed attempt
-rain’s contempt
drenches resistance, will-power
-vile showers
wiping off past with erasers
I let rainwater blend with tears,
releasing resentment of years
a force fierce, rain’s contempt and vile showers

Love the theme of letting go in this poetry form.
