PROMPT #292

I came across a story about a time traveler who brought back a picture from year 6000, and left a friend behind.

The picture he shows is distorted, but he claims

During the time travel process, pictures among other things tend to get distorted.

Let this line drive you to write your piece.

What are the other things that tend to get distorted? Can time travel be a metaphor for something else? Who is this man, and why did he get involved in the project? Is there something he is looking for, or something he wants to hide?

Well, the possibilities are endless.

There is no restriction on format of the piece. There is no last date either, unless you wish to be featured in the Weekly Wrap. 

Any post that is found to be offensive, vulgar or something that hurts common sensibilities will not be included. This needs to be a safe space.
