Denise gives me a ponderable quote. “A book should be an ax to chop open the frozen sea inside us”
I go ahead and choose a book that seems relevant. I’m engulfed by dizziness, just when I’m on the verge of a breakthrough, landing in a whirlpool.
My feet are shackled by guilt, as I struggle to break free.
Why did I not act so far … Where will I land if I go ahead with this …What does the bottom of the ocean feel like?
I woke up with a cold sweat, happy that it was all a nightmare.

Weird dreams, I always shake my head. Why does my head produce them?

Your subconscious won’t spill out by shaking the head ☺️ Thank you, Susi!

Tense, Reena, and disturbing. I felt my stomach knot as I read. I’m glad it was a nightmare and if there was a message from it, that it came peacefully in the daytime to the character.

Yes. It’s also true that our own fears block breakthroughs. We miss out on the treasures to avoid certain situations.

Thanks for the lavish compliment! I had to look up Fourth Wall Break, but the search ended in a smile. Something like the ‘elephant in the room’.

We do often learn what we need to know through our dreams. Even the nightmares we have can teach us.

Nice transition from “breakthrough” to “whirlpool”. It is good that it was only a nightmare, but nightmares have their messages to tell.
