wistful September
darkness and light harmonize
Equinox is here
At year’s end, dusks and dawns flaunt lilac bliss
Hearts flutter in periwinkle dreams
The Purple haze descends on all
Our fortunes come full circle
Portends of the Seer-
Must we heed, or fear;
Cards that read dreams
Runestone dooms
Lost truths
Fate

Purple horizons
when birds flock rift valley lakes
Far-winter’s blessings
Forget not the many hues of each colour
Wondrous scintillating deceptions
Where mystery inflames beauty
And fantasy spoons reality
When the Purple haze has you
Smitten by its amethyst sheen
Blinded to its heliotrope tinge
A wistful time indeed
A time of comeupens
When the end is in sight
and watchful things stalk your every step.
