Only ifs and…

It was a crazy evening and
don’t think it was extraordinary and
I left her doorstep and
I started walking and
I thought she would follow me and
ask me to stop and
we would be together forever but
that never happened and
she neither followed and
she did not ask me to stop and
I kept on walking and
I have come too far and
I am left only with ifs and…
